The Mahindra BE 6 Pack 3 is priced at ₹26.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e Pack 3 comes with a price tag of ₹30.50 lakh, both on an ex-showroom basis. These prices place the vehicles competitively within the growing electric SUV market in India.

Bookings for the Pack 3 versions will open from February 14, 2025, allowing early adopters to secure their orders ahead of the wider availability. Meanwhile, bookings for the lower variants of both BE 6 and XEV 9e will begin in March, giving prospective buyers options based on their budget and preferences. This phased approach in bookings is expected to generate steady demand and manage supply effectively.

Customers interested in these electric SUVs will also benefit from Mahindra’s immediate selection option, which enables buyers to quickly choose their preferred model and variant without delays. To further personalize the cabin ambiance, the BE 6 offers ‘Live Your Mood’ preset themes, allowing drivers to customize lighting and display preferences according to their mood.

In terms of performance, the BE 6 comes with three distinct drive modes—Range, Everyday, and Race—catering to different driving styles and situations. Whether a driver seeks maximum efficiency, a comfortable daily drive, or a sportier ride, these modes adjust power delivery and vehicle dynamics accordingly.

Safety and assistance have not been overlooked, as the BE 6 Pack 3 is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Utilizing five radar sensors along with a vision system, the vehicle offers features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automated emergency braking. Mahindra XEV 9e: Pack 3 Features

The XEV 9e Pack 3 carries forward Mahindra’s commitment to innovation and luxury with its own impressive array of features. The SUV features the Light Me Up Infinity Roof, a large glass panel that extends over the cabin to provide a breathtaking panoramic view and an open-air feel, enriching the passenger experience.

Inside, the XEV 9e is equipped with a triple 12.3-inch screen setup. Test Drive Details

To familiarize potential customers with these new electric SUVs, Mahindra has planned a comprehensive nationwide test drive campaign in multiple phases. The first phase will begin on January 14, 2025, targeting major metropolitan areas such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Chennai. These cities have been chosen to reach a large and diverse audience of electric vehicle enthusiasts and potential buyers.

Following this, the second phase will expand the availability of test drives to 15 additional cities starting January 24, 2025. This includes key urban centers like Lucknow, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh, among others. By progressively widening the reach, Mahindra aims to ensure that interested customers across the country get hands-on experience with the new BE 6 and XEV 9e models.

The final phase of the campaign will commence on February 7, 2025, allowing residents in all other cities to take advantage of test drive opportunities. This extensive rollout strategy highlights Mahindra’s commitment to promoting electric mobility and making it accessible to as many consumers as possible.

Test drives are a crucial step for buyers to understand the driving dynamics, comfort, technology, and overall feel of these vehicles before making a purchase decision.
